Elliott Absorbent Products launch the UNI-DRY range of pads
The pads incorporate a food contact approved, high absorbent capable of retaining from 10-50lt per sqm of water under the edana test method. Allied to this it achieves these ground breaking absorbencies at low grammages. Matt Hankins MD said, “We can achieve a 16ltr per sqm absorbent at 230 gsm. An equivalent airlaid with saf, if you could source it, or cut it in line, would be at least 426 gsm and 10 times as thick!”
The savings in transport, storage, material changes and the environmental impact are immense. Allied to this its dust free, which is a major issue with open cut airlaids above 10ltr.
The UNI-DRY range is available in pads and reel format and is very definitely aimed at high end users who require absorbencies above 10ltr. Individual pads can be designed to meet the rigorous demands of the BFR test method, in blood/saline and under load.
