Really defining
At the beginning of this year, SPS developed a solid cardboard box with a glossy sheen. "A special white liner is laminated on the cardboard machine. Afterwards the cardboard plate is printed with a nice photo print. Companies can really define themselves with this. Growers union Van Nature immediately joined the development of this innovative idea."
"Together we developed a glossy lid for the aubergine packaging. Although this is an over pack, Van Nature wanted to be involved from the very start, so as to be able to make good marketing technical use of the new production method. "We are convinced that this new development gives added value when marketing fruit and vegetables. An added advantage is that we are very flexible when it comes to delivery times and numbers. This is certainly a valuable alternative to the pre-printed liner. It's expensive and less flexible." Concluded Johan De Neef.
