Rijk Zwaan is looking forward to welcoming attendees at the show in Berlin to its booth (Hall 1.2, Stand D-13) to explore together how commitment to care can help partners thrive in today's ever-evolving market. Experts from the fruit and vegetable breeding company are also contributing to a number of parallel events in Berlin. To engage in even more knowledge sharing, customers and partners can sign up to visit the Retail Centre – the company's very own retail experience facility in Berlin.
Advocacy in action: amplifying voices in produce and floral
The first event involving Rijk Zwaan is a panel discussion on 'Advocacy in Action' taking place at the Berlin Marriot Hotel on the day before Fruit Logistica gets underway. Jan Doldersum, Manager Chain & Retail at Rijk Zwaan, will join Steve Alaerts, Hein Deprez and Maria Wieloch to discuss what advocacy in the fresh produce sector means to them. Attendees will learn how their voice can influence policies, drive positive change, and secure a vibrant future for the industry.
Tuesday 4 February, 15.15-15.40 – Berlin Marriot Hotel
New fruits and vegetables by design
On the first day of Fruit Logistica, Rijk Zwaan will participate in a panel discussion to highlight groundbreaking innovations in fresh produce. A sustainable, innovative pepper category
Heleen van Rijn-Wassenaar, Marketing Specialist Peppers at Rijk Zwaan, will speak at the Future Lab on the second day of Fruit Logistica. She will outline the huge potential of the pepper category in terms of genetic diversity, taste variations and branding. She will also update attendees on what is going on in relation to sustainability and organic production in this category. Drawing on her marketing experience, and using examples such as the award-winning flavourful snack-size pepper Tatayoyo, Heleen will provide inspiration for the pepper category to become just as innovative as the tomato category has been over the past 20 years.
