Dole is present at China's International Import Expo, this week in Shanghai. The company has increased investment in the Chinese market in recent years. The company now operates two processing and distributing centres in China: one in Guiyang and one in Chongqing. The Guiyang center is currently active, with the Chongqing center being prepared for opening.
Last year Dole had a special launch with the presentation of Belgium red imported pears. This year the company is promoting two new products in China.
Firstly it is promoting Thai fragrant coconut. With it's specially patented opening tools the coconut and its juice can be easily consumed.
Secondly, all products will be on show from Dole's sub-brand Everich and YoTian. This includes sweet frozen durian, high-quality imported fruits from the Philippines and different series of freshly squeezed fruit juices.
At the CIIE, Dole has reached a strategic cooperation with a number of strategic partners, including the Philippine Consulate, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Carrefour, the Huizhan wholesale market, ShouYang Fruit. ShouYang fruits ordered 20,000 boxes of Dole Super Sweet Banana and 20,000 boxes of Dole Sweet Coconut. ShouYang fruit has over 370 fruit stores across China.
It also released it's festive Year of the Rabbit New Year Gift box.
