Orchard shredder machines that perform only once on each row are increasingly in demand. This solution is offered by the Expander machine and on the one hand it saves diesel fuel and manpower, on the other hand it offers a more eco-friendly solution.
"This machine allows, in a single operation, owners to carry out the complete work on the whole row. It is flexible and auto-leveling to adapt to the ground. The machine opens and closes as needed and the available models are different both for width and strength whether you have to cut small diameter branches or larger branches," explained Alessandro Calderoni.
The first thing you immediately notice is that, being hydraulically expandable, it allows you to carry out in a single step the processing on the entire surface of the turf. There are various models depending on the needs and you start from a minimum of 1.50 meters to the largest machine that expands and operates at 4.50 meters.
"One of the main characteristics is that each mulcher of this machine is flexible in both height and lateral inclination - added Calderoni - so, even if the ground is not perfectly flat or, as it usually occurs, it is higher towards the plants, the machine autonomously self-levels itself on the soil".
