Interpom | Primeurs will take place in the Kortrijk Xpo in Belgium from 27 until 29 November 2016. The trade fair once again reports significant growth figures, and was completely rented out with 310 exhibitors, well in advance. This year will be the largest edition ever, and it will also be the largest indoor potato trade fair, to feature the entire supply chain, in the world: from cultivation to processing and marketing.
This 18th edition expects no fewer than 20,000 vistors, and its theme is sustainable growth thanks to technological progress in the entire supply chain. The fair will be officially opened by former president of the European Council Herman van Rompuy on Sunday. He is familiar with the potato sector, because he is involved in the operation of NGO Trias, which enjoys the support of Belgapom in order to professionalise the potato sector in the Andes.
This year, the trade fair reports a new growth in both the number of exhibitors and in fair surface: 310 exhibitors (+11.5%) from 15 countries and 1,320m2 additional fair surface compared to 2014 (+8.2%); plus the occupation of seven fair halls in Kortrijk Xpo, including the central one as ‘Rambla.’ Interpom | Primeurs presents an exceptionally complete and specialised supply of products, machines and services for the entire supply chain.
