The Australian fresh produce industry has a new
player, with the launch of Nutrano Produce Group,
following the acquisition of the Oakville Produce
Group’s banana division on February 10th, 2016.
Nutrano Produce Group has been built on solid business foundations which includes a grower integrated model and wholesale market operations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. “We are excited to have commenced trading under our new ownership structure, and will continue to service our valued customers with expert category management coupled with an extensive supply chain infrastructure including growing, ripening, and logistics” says Nutrano Produce Group CEO, Chaise Pensini.
“The name itself has Italian heritage and translates directly to ‘Nutrition’. We are devoted to achieving excellence in the supply chain to ensure high quality fresh product every time,” states Nutrano Produce Group Executive Chairman, Tony Mahoney.
