The French import and export company JMF Partenariat will be around ten years in August. Nowadays, the firm has five sales offices; two in France (Perpignan and Bapaume 62FR), one in Belgium (Roeselare) and Spanje (Murcia). A new one was recently opened in Morocco (Casablanca) with the goal of further expanding its product catalogue. JMF supplies a wide range of potatoes, vegetables and fruit, with a strong focus on offering quality brands. These are exported to several countries in Europe, with the main market being France, which is why the company was also present at Medfel 2014.
Expanding product range
Grégory Struyve is the manager for the Spanish market. He explains that the range is regularly expanded with new products. "We have grown a lot in the potato market, of which we ship around 10,000 tonnes per year. Additionally, we are very active with products such as chicory, leek, strawberries and tomatoes. Moroccan melons, marketed under the brand Tranche Gourmande, and green beans are our newest product. We plan to distribute more fruits and vegetables from Morocco in the near future; we work directly with the growers on site and that ensures the freshest and most attractive products. Being close to the source is essential to respond quickly to the growers' needs, and of course to obtain what the customer demands."

The Belgian office is located in Roeselare. "We work closely with the auctioneer REO-Veiling," says Gregory. "That's why we launched the quality brand Tomabel during Mefdel 2014, as we want people to get to know these great products. Melanie Dembele presented the Tomabel range during the fair, receiving a very positive response."
