Netherlands: Roger Swart strengthens team Asian Vegetables & Fruit
With effect from this year Roger Swart strengthens the team of Asian Vegetables & Fruit in Barendrecht, The Netherlands. In the last few years Roger has been active in selling Asian fruit and vegetables at various wholesalers and he hopes to develop his speciality further with a special focus on selling on the German and Scandinavian markets. "The advantage is that I can completely concentrate on selling at Asian Vegetables & Fruit and with that can learn a lot from my colleagues about the Asian market."

Roger sees a lot of opportunities in selling Asian fruit and vegetables at the key-markets. "In Germany the Asian eating culture is well established, but also in Scandinavia these products are consumed more often. More and more Asian people move to Scandinavia and also the Scandinavians themselves eat more and more Asian fruit and vegetables all the time."
Manager Tjonki Tse of Asian Vegetables & Fruit is positive about the new year. "We got through 2012 well and luckily are still in an upward trend. We hope to increase our selling activities this year with Roger joining. We are fully occupied with innovations. In the meantime we also import our products from Florida and the Dominican Republic supplemented by our own cultivation from Dutch glasshouses we are in a position to offer a complete assortment Asian fruit and vegetables."
