Portugal: Failures in fruit production

According to INE's predictions published on 31 August, there will be significant reductions in the production of pears, apples and kiwis, due to adverse weather conditions for the flowering and fruiting processes, which will decisively hurt this season's productive capacity. Furthermore, the production of peaches and oranges is also expected to fail, damaged by frosts and persistent dry weather.
