"Italy: GF Group introduces "F.lli Orsero" brand for Extra Premium bananas and pineapples"

GF Group, a European leader in importing and distributing fresh fruit and vegetables, is launching its brand "F.lli Orsero", for extra premium quality bananas and pineapples.

"F.lli Orsero" is the result of the Group tradition. GF Group has managed the entire supply chain for more than 50 years to offer a fresh, healthy and controlled product to consumers, from production to stores.

The new brand conveys the values ​​of the Italian Orsero family. A brand that represents experience, professionalism, flexibility and attention to relationships with their partners. From plantations to consumer's tables, the "F.lli Orsero" truck carries quality, tradition, reliability and Italian passion.

Group companies, active in different phases of the distribution process, ensure always the healthiness of products through accurate checks. Particular attention is also turned to aspects of social responsibility.

"F.lli Orsero" fruit is produced directly in Costa Rica and Colombia, transported by ships owned by the Group up to the Mediterranean ports and, thanks to an extensive distribution network, can quickly reach the shops in every city.

"F.lli Orsero" is also innovation. In packaging, that is new and attractive, suitable for displaying products in the store. But also in approaching the market, building personal relationships with clients to create value throughout the supply chain.

Further, the marketing plan originally designed for Italy and Spain is also innovative; it will be extended later to other countries where the Group operates. A big promotional campaign is planned, with the aim to increase brand awareness in all market players, from wholesaler to consumer through retailer.

Television, press, internet, promotions, contests, flash mob: "F.lli Orsero" truck will visit Italy and Europe to bring the tastiest bananas and pineapples on the consumers' table.

"After many years of experience, we decided it was time to put our signature on the products that we deliver. Today's market follows often the law of the lowest price, at the expense of quality and safety of the product. So we decided to produce and distribute our highest quality product and assure the consumer with our name," Antonio Orsero, President of GF Group SpA, says.

"F.lli Orsero is our brand, the family brand. It represents everything we were yesterday, we are now and we'll be tomorrow: keen on our work, accurate in production and transport and in building relationships. For the launch of the media campaign we will see at the press conference scheduled for mid-February."
