After an extensive search, Peak of the Market is proud to announce that Deena Clarke has joined its team as chief financial officer.
Clarke held the role of controller at Granny’s Poultry Cooperative Ltd. for the past 12 years which included the merger of Granny’s with Exceldor Cooperative in July 2019. In addition to facilitating the merger, Clarke led the finance team at Granny’s and was involved in a $37 million plant expansion and renovation project in 2016. Clarke was also the finance lead in multiple system implementation projects.

Peak of the Market is also proud to announce that Jodi Johnson has joined its team as marketing and communications manager.
Johnson’s 20-year career began with the Manitoba Turkey Producers but a move to Calgary resulted in a 15-year career in multiple communications and high-profile special events roles with the Calgary Stampede, the most notable being the Royal Visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2007. An opportunity with the Red River Exhibition brought Johnson home, where she spent the past 10 years as communications and marketing manager.
“Jodi is a great fit for this newly created position,” said Kolochuk. “Jodi’s extensive experience, coupled with her enthusiasm, will serve us well in years to come.”
