On January 29, the Chinese General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) announced that the New Zealand avocado has been granted official market access to China.
Having contacted the company which the Chinese Government site stated has been cleared for access, it seems that the official go ahead has not yet been given, but is imminent.
