Consalo Family Farms announced that Judy Spires has been appointed chair of retail strategy & industry relations. With more than four decades of leadership experience, Spires has held senior executive roles across several of the nation's leading supermarket organizations. She served as president of Acme Markets, president of Albertsons' Dallas–Fort Worth Division, and president of Albertsons' Rocky Mountain Division. She later became chairman and CEO of KB US Holdings, the parent company of Kings Food Markets and Balducci's, where she led both banners through a period of modernization and growth.
Beyond her executive career, Spires continues to play a national leadership role in advancing the food industry, diversity, and education. She currently serves as a board member of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and as an executive-in-residence at Saint Joseph's University Haub School of Business, mentoring emerging leaders in food retail and consumer products.
