Ng will continue to be based at Zespri's sales and marketing hub in Singapore. Since joining Zespri in 2017 as global marketing director, she has led several strategic programs, including a global brand refresh and the development of the company's long-term demand strategy for 2035. Earlier this year, she joined Zespri's executive team, where she collaborates with senior leadership on marketing and commercial strategy.
In her new role, Ng has restructured Zespri's marketing division by integrating the market research team back into the marketing function to strengthen insights-based decision-making. The team will continue to work closely with the company's strategy department to guide brand direction and consumer engagement.
"As chief marketing officer, my vision is to elevate Zespri to be the healthiest fruit brand in the world—an iconic brand that empowers our consumers, growers, and people to thrive through natural nutrition," said Ng. "Our brand is rooted in the land, nurtured by growers, and brought to life through the everyday choices of consumers around the world. That connection is powerful. My commitment is to build a brand that not only delivers exceptional taste and nutrition but also champions the well-being of communities. We will tell stories that inspire, innovate with purpose, and create value from orchard to table."
Ng's promotion follows the departure of Jiunn Shih, who served as Zespri's global chief marketing officer for nine years before joining Driscoll's in the same role.
