Flikweert Vision has entered into a dealership agreement with Volm Companies to expand the distribution and service of its optical sorting technology across North America. The agreement was signed last week during a visit to Zeeland by Volm representatives Wayne DeCou, Equipment Director, and Matthew Alexander, Vice President, alongside Flikweert Vision CEO Martijn Flikweert.

Volm Companies operates six locations across North America and employs a technical team of 26 service engineers. The company manufactures and supplies packaging materials and equipment for handling and packing fresh produce. Its established regional presence and technical capacity will support the distribution and servicing of Flikweert Vision's sorting systems for potatoes and onions.
The collaboration aims to strengthen local access to sorting equipment and after-sales support through joint initiatives in service, training, and customer assistance. Teams from both companies met during the visit to define operational plans for these areas.
According to both partners, the agreement forms part of a broader effort to expand the availability of automated sorting technology globally and provide scalable solutions for growers and packers.
