Bonduelle Group posts 0.9% sales drop for FY 2024–2025

The Bonduelle Group reported sales of €2,203.8 million for the 2024–2025 financial year, ending June 30, 2025, a decrease of 0.8% on a like-for-like basis and 0.9% on reported figures compared with the previous year. The group's brands, Bonduelle, Cassegrain, and Globus, recorded stable sales overall.

In the fourth quarter, sales increased 0.2% on a like-for-like basis but declined 0.2% on reported figures, supported by an improvement in activity in the Europe Zone towards the end of the period.

Europe Zone
The Europe Zone, accounting for 61.5% of sales, declined 3.9% on reported figures and 4.1% on a like-for-like basis for the full year. In the fourth quarter, sales decreased 0.6% on both measures.

Canned and frozen categories, while slightly lower overall, showed a late-quarter improvement, reflecting a return to normal private label volumes and growth of the Cassegrain brand in France. Fresh processed products retained in the portfolio, including packaged salads in Italy and prepared segments in France and Italy, recorded year-on-year growth in both value and volume. The prepared segment in France benefited from new product launches and favorable spring and early summer weather.

Non-Europe Zone
The Non-Europe Zone represented 38.5% of sales, increasing 4.9% on a like-for-like basis (4.4% on reported figures). In the fourth quarter, sales rose 1.7% on a like-for-like basis and 0.4% on reported figures.

North American operations grew 4.8% on a like-for-like basis (4.9% reported), supported by double-digit growth in complete meal solutions. The Eurasia region, Export, and Mercosur achieved a 5.5% increase on a like-for-like basis (3.7% reported), with Eurasia showing strong performance.

Divestment of packaged salad business in France
On July 17, 2025, Bonduelle completed the sale of its packaged salad business in France to LSDH Group, following an agreement announced in August 2024. The divestment comes after a decade of declining salad consumption in France and represents about 3.5% of Bonduelle's turnover, or €80 million for FY 2024–2025.

Under a licensing agreement, LSDH will continue using the Bonduelle brand on packaged salads in France. The financial results of the transaction will be recorded in the 2025–2026 fiscal year, which began July 1, 2025.
