Mission Produce, Inc. has appointed Michael Bryan Sims to its board of directors, effective May 5, 2025. Sims joins as an independent Class II director and will serve on the audit committee. His term is set to expire at the company's 2028 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. With this appointment, the board expands from eight to nine members.

Sims brings over 40 years of experience in financial leadership within the food, agriculture, and consumer industries. He has held executive positions at several major firms, including TruGreen, where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO, and AdvancePierre Foods, where he helped take the company public before its acquisition by Tyson Foods. He also spent over two decades at Chiquita Brands International in finance and business development roles.
Sims currently serves on the boards of The Hain Celestial Group and Winland Foods and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University. Mission Produce cited Sims' financial and governance experience in the food sector as the basis for his selection.
