It is with mixed emotions that Peak of the Market announces the retirement of long-time employee and industry champion Dave Whitmore.
Whitmore joined Peak 28 years ago and since then, he has made a huge impact on the fresh produce industry in Manitoba, across Canada and throughout the United States. His retirement date will be December 23, 2022.
“There is really no one who knows the fresh produce industry better,” says Pamela Kolochuk, CEO. “Dave knows the ins and outs of the industry, has made long-time connections and friends along the way and has led many teams throughout his storied career. We will certainly miss his knowledge of the markets and his charismatic way of conducting business. His reputation precedes him--only in the best way.”
