Territorio Aguacate, the most important fair of Colombia's avocado sector, will be held on June 9 and 10. This third edition of the fair will focus on sustainable ecosystems.
Territorio Aguacate seeks to connect all the actors in the sector, bringing together leaders, investors, and small and large producers to promote business and research, connecting the sector with trends and technologies, promoting investment, and strengthening the guild.
The event will be held online and will have different activities, such as Avomatch, a business conference that will take place from June 9 to 15, in which leaders, entrepreneurs, and producers will be able to have meetings and create alliances that promote the guild.
During the two days of the event, attendees will be able to attend different conferences that promote sustainability and innovation in the sector.
The fair will hold a Digital Forum on June 9 with more than 10 national and international speakers, such as Nolan Paul, Partner of Yamaha Motor Ventures, Ron Simpson, founder of The Avocado Show, and Jose Alberto Velez, who will moderate one of the sessions. This day, the speakers will discuss different issues, such as soils and their nutrition, the conscious control of plagues and diseases, consumers and their demands, the technologies in the sector, certifications, and the importance of water.
On June 10, the event will center around the Avotalks; specialized talks in which more than 15 companies will present different tools, innovations, and technologies that are transforming the avocado industry in the country.
This digital event will be the preamble of the face-to-face event that will be held on December 2 and 3 in Medellin.
