Camposol, the Peruvian agro-industrial company, will expand its agricultural operations in Mexico, where it plans to install avocado and blueberry plantations. According to the managing director of Camposol Internacional, Jose Antonio Gomez Bazan, this will allow the company, which also has more than 2,100 hectares of avocado crops in Colombia and the nearly 1,000 hectares of citrus in Uruguay, to supply fruit to its customers -which include Walmart, Costco, LIDL, Aldi, and Olé- throughout the 12 months of the year.
The company has 17,400 hectares of its own in Peru, 8,000 of which are in production. Gomez Bazan added that the company produces 32,000 tons of blueberries, 40,000 tons of avocados, 14,000 tons of grapes, 12,000 tons of mandarins, and 16,000 tons of mangoes in Peru.
Camposol is present in 45 countries and has its own operations in Europe ( where they started in 2010 and currently have distribution centers in England, Holland, Spain, Germany, Russia, where they invoice over 150 million dollars); in North America (where they started in 2013 and now have distribution points in Florida, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago, California and Canada, that invoice over 250 million dollars), and in China (where they started in 2017, and from where they distribute to other Asian markets, such as Korea, Japan, Indonesia, invoicing about 40 million).
