Opening celebration for Aweta's new head office

On Saturday December 14, Aweta, a pioneer in sorting and packaging machines, opened their new head office in Pijnacker-Nootdorp to an audience of over 500 guests.

CEO Otto Vink

A spectacular opening show by illusionist Alfredo Lorenzo was followed by a personal speech by CEO Otto Vink where innovations, projects, clients, employees and family members were put in the spotlight.

Official opening of business premises
Both old and new were connected during this afternoon. The 'oldest' employee and the most recent employee performed the official opening together.

The first cucumber sorting machine from 1966 was shown, as well as the most recent innovation this year: the Cupsizer XL for pears.

The old logo ...

A moment was taken to remember the late founder, A.W. Tas, who developed his first sorting machine in 1966 in a pig shed in Nootdorp.

And of course there was a tour of the most innovative sorting technologies that Aweta has developed over the years.

Global player in sorting machines
"Today, Aweta is the market leader in sorting technology with a worldwide network of dealers, service organizations and customers. The new head office symbolizes the kickstart of a new era of this wonderful innovative company."
