"The dragon fruit is rich in nutrients and unique in its characteristics. It contains vitamin E and anthocyanin. Anthocyanins are contained in grape skin, red beet and other fruits and vegetables, but the anthocyanin content in dragon fruit is the highest. In addition, dragon fruit not only tastes sweet, it also has great nutritional value, such as anti-oxidants and the prevention of constipation. Based on these fruit characteristics, dragon fruit has been favored by consumers in the domestic and overseas markets, especially the red meat dragon fruit," says Susan Wang of Comtree Enterprise CO during an interview with FreshPlaza.
"We planted dragon fruit in central Taiwan. The varieties include red meat dragon fruit and white meat dragon fruit. The season starts in June and July respectively. Compared with last year, this year, our planting base has expanded by 10% for cultivating new varieties. We use organic fertilizer and grass cultivation methods instead of herbicide. We used no herbicide or growth hormone in the whole fruit growth period to meet the food and fruit safety needs. "
Comtree Enterprise CO will participate in the Asian Fruit and Vegetable Show in Hong Kong this year. Their booth is located in Hall 5c/K38C.
