China: First bricks-and-mortar Jingdong fresh supermarket opening for business

Following on from speciality stores for mobile phones and houses, convenience stores and other projects, Jingdong Fresh is now targeting offline stores. The offline supermarket project '7 Fresh' will open for business in the Five Colored City shopping center in Beijing. They will in the future undoubtedly become a competitor to Alibaba.

Although the new store is currently still being renovated, one can already tell from the works that the main products of this store will be fruit, vegetables, seafood and other fresh goods. In addition 7 Fresh will be a supermarket that integrates both online and offline operations. Moreover, it will offer fresh goods from all over the world to consumers.
