McDonald’s France, Florette Food Service (their long term salad, fruit and vegetable supplier) and the Saint-Pol-de-Léon Sica (vegetable producer organisation and partners with Florette Food Services) have signed a multi-year contract to supply iceberg lettuce to France’s fast food leader. The contract is for 800 tons of Iceberg lettuce to be bought per year, over three years as of this year. Florette already supplies 80% of the 17,000 tons of salad bought by McDonald’s each year.
