Atlanta Poland records 20% drop in turnover

In the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2015/16, which runs from April to June, Atlanta Poland recorded a decrease in turnover of approximately 20 percent, down to 43.8 million złoty (10.05 million Euro), and a 1.3 million złoty (298,243 Euro) net loss, compared to a 93 thousand złoty (21,335 Euro) profit a year ago. This was due to, among other reasons, a decline in commodity prices, which translated into a lower sales revenue, and the limited supplies to Jeronimo Martins Poland, according to sources from the company.

Also, the company had to reduce the number of contracts for processed nuts as a result of its investment in the expansion of its production facility in Gdansk.

The firm also recorded an increase in other operating expenses by approximately 0.3 million złoty (68,825 Euro).

Lastly, Atlanta Poland announced that it would publish the report for the entire fiscal year 2015/2016 on 31 October.
