Clarification concerning recent articles on Agonomia productive facilities Apulia
After the publication of a number of articles on the preventive seizure of two areas part of Jentu s.agr.r.l, a company located in Lecce part of Gruppo Agronomia, Agronomia S.p.A., fresh-cut salad producer for Mercato AIM Italia, would like to point out that said measure does not affect production activities, which are being carried out as usual.
Orders received have not been modified and, what is more, those facilities part of the group located in northern Italy are continuing the Sunday shift implemented in the past few months to meet the needs of one of the main clients.
None of the areas cultivated by the company has been affected. Even the self-production of raw materials continues as usual to meet the increasing needs of the various facilities. The two areas that have been seized are in fact destined to the temporary stocking of waste and to the preparation of fertilisers, which are the ones currently being contested.
We would also like to point out that the company has offered and will continue to offer the maximum collaboration to the authorities in charge of the investigation. In addition, the company has announced it is ready to take legal action against anyone who publishes false or misleading information.
