On Saturday the 11th of October Van Geest International celebrated it's 40th birthday. This Westland family company in the fruit and vegetable export was founded by M.L.S (Rien) van Geest in 1974. Together with his sons Wim, Rene and Philip VGI has grown to a beautiful company in those 40 years, where service and reliability, as well as the customer, come first.

'No nonsense and just do it' is VGI's motto. This makes it logical that the party was held in the company's hall, together with all of the staff and supplier and transporters. 'M.L.S.' was put in the spotlight by his sons, and the management was giving a lovely present by the staff.

With musical accompaniment from Kees Toets and his band it was a great party, with a delicious dinner and reviving drinks. This was all organised by Young Events. All in all a successful get together with thanks to everyone involved.
