Logistic Partners share succes with Heart of England Fine Foods
The company, which was approached by Ecuadorian banana producer, BanaBay last year, to import fresh fruit into the UK and to develop the new marketplace, has established a temperature controlled supply chain for BanaBay as well as securing major new contracts. Logistic Partners handle the grower’s shipping, ripening, storage, distribution, marketing and UK sales requirements, and within the last nine months have increased flows from an initial container per week to over ten containers a week globally (approximately one million bananas per week) to meet customer demand, which continues to grow.

Now we are exporting BanaBay brand bananas into countries across Europe and have also started deliveries into Egypt, China and New Zealand. As a result of BanaBay’s rapid growth we are looking at widening its portfolio to include apples, mangoes and pineapples amongst other fruit lines.
