According to the President of Anecoop, Juan Safont, "it is a measure that will certainly benefit both parties, since it will allow us to be more competitive both at the business management and market levels, by expanding our horticultural offer originated in Almeria, largely recognized in Europe for its excellent quality".
For his part, the President of Camposol, Francisco Giménez Giménez, said that "the signing of this agreement demonstrates the degree of commitment that Camposol has with Anecoop, we are fulfilling our desire of moving faster to reach total integration."
To achieve the goal within the time limit, Anecoop will send one of its quality technicians to Camposol permanently, as well as a production technician, to advise the union on the most suitable and efficient varieties for cultivation. In addition, a sales manager of Camposol will also join Anecoop's commercial team on a permanent basis. Thanks to the agreement, the companies will plan the campaigns together and standardize quality processes and work systems, thus promoting the development of new commercial programs.
This project is aligned with Anecoop's concentration and integrating strategy, which the business group Anecoop had already launched in 2002 with the aim of creating a group that is capable of operating as a single company in terms of management, while maintaining the social independence of its members. Currently, the business group integrates thirteen cooperatives and their specific weight within Anecoop has represented 24.5% of the total volume of product sold in the 2011-2012 campaign.
