Chiquita has confirmed that it has sold its joint venture with Danone, called Danone Chiquita Fruits, to the German company Gebrüder Bagusat. The deal took place at the end of March. The collaboration between Danone and Chiquita started in 2010. It was then agreed that the French company Danone would sell the fruit drinks 'Just Fruit in a Bottle' Europe. Danone had a share of 51% in this.
