UK: TH Clements looks to the future

This week, sees Boston based Brassica specialists, TH Clements, unveil their new corporate identity. The newly designed logo and strap-line will be integrated throughout the business including the company headquarters and distribution fleet.

As the business consolidates itself on the back of strong growth and investment in itʼs core infrastructure it was felt that the overall look and feel of the companyʼs needed to be evolved to reflect the current business values.

“The new look has been in development for a number of months and is the culmination of a remarkable turnaround for the company over the past few years. The original TH Clements and Sons identity was introduced a couple of decades ago and had obviously dated," explained TH Clements Managing Director, Chris Gedney

"Over the past few years we have invested heavily in both the company infrastructure and team, which has seen our business grow and given us the confidence in which to build for the future. Our aim was to create a new identity, which is a reflection of this.

"The look together with the strapline is a clear statement of the companies intent for the future.”

Further to the rebranding, TH Clements continue to invest in the business with the delivery of a new Scania Topline Tractor Unit with an extended trailer capacity, which enables up to 30 pallets to be distributed – over 15% more than standard carriers.

The business was one of a handful to be awarded the special licence for this type of trailer across all industries and will take part in a ten year Government trial to check performance and delivery over a number of measures, with the ultimate aim of creating a greener approach to haulage.

Gedney adds, “We are pleased to have been awarded the distribution licence on the new unit. Itʼs testament to the work put in by both our project and distribution teams to bring the vehicle to Lincolnshire.

Early indications show that it has the capacity to provide returns in a number of different ways and we very much look forward to doing our bit to shape a better environment for the future”.
