NZ: The Freshmax Group appoints industry leader Ross Kane
Taking on the role of ‘CEO – Global Commercial Operations’ based in Auckland, Ross hopes to use his experience in the global fresh produce community and “understanding of the value chain from seed to plate, cost structures, international markets and team management” to assist in the group’s strategic vision.
Ross’ notable industry experience has seen him add value to well respected companies such as Cedenco Foods, Brierly Investments, LeaderBrand Produce and Snap Fresh Foods across New Zealand, Australia and Thailand.
“Growth areas of the Freshmax Group strategy include: farming/investment alongside category-leading growers, special projects and intellectual property commercialisation, which will be key components of Ross’ role. He’ll also assist in lifting services throughout our Australasian business and driving further integration of our North America platform” explains Freshmax Group CEO, Tony Mahoney.
