The clientèle of wholesaler Yzewy in Antwerp is getting bigger and bigger, and the company is busy adjusting its assortment to cater to increasing customer demand. "What we notice is that an increasing number of our clients want fresh," says Tim Yzewy. "Our precooked pears, for instance, are in high demand, especially this time of the year. We are doing our utmost to accommodate our customers by repeatedly updating our supply."
"Another specialty are our homemade croquettes," says Tim. "They have been part of our assortment for three years now, and they are very much appreciated by our customers. They are lovely, and specially made for us. They come in packages of 10, 20, 50 or 100 pieces."
Tim notices an expansion in the number of butchers and caterers in his clientele. "The old corner shop is disappearing, making way for either specialty stores or fresh stores."
Yzewyn's customers come from Knokke, Antwerp, Brussels and even further away.
