Expoalimentaria is being called the most important food trade fair in Latin America and not without reason. Its accelerated growth in participation and investment, year after year, assures it. In its fourth edition, that will be held from the 19th to 21st of September at Las Palmas Air Base, promises to set a new record and catapult this event among the best.

Zaid Arauco, Marketing and Merchandising Manager of the Exporters Association (Adex institution that organizes the event), said that this year, it is projected to exceed USD 500 million in business. In addition to this, it will receive more than 30,000 national and international visitors, in an area bigger than 20.000 m2 and where 600 exhibitors will participate.
The Marketing and Merchandising Manager of Adex said that 70% of the area is already occupied, highlighting the presence of agricultural machinery and equipment companies. He also indicated that 10 booths have been reserved, of which 9 are in the agro section and one in machinery. Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, Holland, Switzerland and France have confirmed their assiStance.
