In order to be in a position to distribute fresh and deep frozen foodstuffs the roughly 
1000 m2 large building will be built as a cooling and deep-freeze warehouse. The distribution centre in Trossingen will serve as a regional supply centre for the large number of clients of REWE-Food Service in the regions

The distribution centre in Trossingen will serve as a regional supply centre for the large number of clients of REWE-Food Service in the regions Schwarzwald, Schwäbische Alb, Bodensee, Baden and Oberrhein. In future they will be supplied even quicker and more efficiently.
Annually about 8,000 tons of food will be distributed from Trossingen. As soon as the new distribution centre is ready 20 employees will start working there.
