At the recent 2021 Shaanxi Fruit (Shanghai) promotion event, a batch of new and excellent fruits cultivated in Shaanxi came to Shanghai for exhibition.
Ruiyang, Ruixianghong, and Ruixue are all new apple varieties that have been successfully cultivated in Shaanxi
When it comes to the fruits of Shaanxi, the big apples are the best known by Shanghai citizens, especially the Red Fuji. Red Fuji is the most planted apple variety in Shaanxi, but the planting technology is close to its peak and it is difficult to make new breakthroughs. Therefore, the local area is constantly cultivating new and excellent varieties.
The Ruiyang, Ruixianghong, and Ruixue that were brought to the event this time are the new varieties that have been successfully cultivated. Especially Ruixue which is wholly yellow, its fruit shape is correct and the surface is smooth while its taste is more delicate and sweet.
In addition, as the largest province for apples and kiwis, Shaanxi Province also brought a new variety of kiwis in this promotion, which can also be eaten with hard fruits. This is because, through physical ripening, this kind of kiwi fruit has become an instant kiwi fruit, and the acidity can be converted into sugar content during the ripening process, so after the skin is peeled off, this kiwi fruit is hard but also delicious.

At present, the Loess Plateau in Shaanxi has built the world’s largest contiguous planting area for high-quality apples. The northern foot of the Qinling Mountains and the Qinba Mountains have become the world’s largest kiwi planting bases. This year, Shaanxi Apple also entered space with the Shenzhou 12 and 13 manned spacecraft, breaking the status quo that Chinese astronauts can only eat freeze-dried fruits.
According to the organizer, the purpose of holding this event is to strengthen cooperation with various fruit sales companies and channels in Shanghai, to consolidate and increase the market share of Shaanxi's high-quality fruit products in Shanghai, and to expand the popularity and influence of the Shaanxi fruit brand in the Yangtze River Delta.
