The 2021 Asian Horticulture, Vegetables and Fruit Expo took place in the World Expo Center in Qingdao on September 15-17. At this expo were gathered, the foremost specialists in the installation horticulture industry. The expo was centered around specialized B2B displays of fruit and vegetable plantation technology solutions from around the world. The expo connected suppliers of products and technology with planters, traders, and investors. Together they engaged in thorough discussions and information exchange. The expo stimulated developments in the entire supply chain industry, both pre-harvest and post-harvest.
The scale of this expo was smaller than in previous years because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. There were about 50 companies with stands at the expo. Most of the companies were Chinese companies, especially suppliers of greenhouse constructions, installations, and related resources. The expo also featured a 'Dutch corner' with stands for the Dutch Agricultural Greenhouse Alliance, Metazet, Certhon, Priva, and Signify.
On the first day, the expo also hosted the 2021 International Peat Technology Forum, the Greenhouse Equipment and Plantation Technology Innovation Forum, and the promotional event for Israeli Fruit and Vegetable Harvest and Post-Harvest Technology. Events took place both in-person and online. More events followed on the second day, such as the Large-Scale Greenhouse Management Forum, the Jingpeng Greenhouse Interactive Salon, the Dutch Installation Horticulture Technology Forum, the 2021 Botanical Factory Experimental Technology Forum.
