Frutas Bollo's holding company has capital of over 50 M€

The holding company Veral Unique SL, owned by representatives of one of the largest citrus firms of the Region of Valencia, Frutas Bollo (Vercher family), has increased its share capital by 6 million Euro and thus achieved a subscribed resulting capital of 50,048,410 Euro, controlled by the fruit and vegetable company.

Frutas Bollo, with a turnover of just over 100 million Euro, is maintaining its business abroad, where it has subsidiaries in countries such as Brazil and Senegal, in order to develop its melon business.

This fruit and vegetable firm has not gone unnoticed by investors of large funds entering the Spanish agro-food sector. ProA Capital - a company led by several Spanish investors - showed interest in Bollo Internacional Fruits throughout 2019.

The company has various farms located in areas chosen because of their climatic and soil conditions in order to grow different crop varieties. It has its own farms across the Mediterranean coast, in Castellon, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia and Andalusia. In addition, it has farms in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, - where it has an 8,000-hectare farm - and Senegal. The latter are devoted to melon cultivation.
