Growing company Hein Deprez, is given a year of financial breathing space

The bondholders of The Fruit Farm Group have given owner Hein Deprez a financial breathing space of one year to put things in order.

In addition to Greenyard, the Deprez plantation companies also have financial problems. The Fruit Farm Group and Orchards Invest are both part of the De Weide Blik holding company. The Fruit Farm Group had a loss of 25 million euros in 2018 on a turnover of 105 million euros.

In the summer of 2019, The Fruit Farm Group asked its bondholders to postpone and adjust certain conditions of the bond loan. In mid-December, bondholders decided that Deprez would get a postponement of one-year.
