Companies join forces to provide Italian customers with Egrocery experience

Supermercato24 partners with Lidl.

Supermercato24, the first Italian same-day delivery service for online grocery, has announced an important partnership with LIDL, one of the leading grocery retailers in Italy.

The partnership with Supermercato24 will allow Italian LIDL customers to shop their favorite grocery store straight from home and have it delivered at their doorstep on the very same day, even within one hour.
With this innovative partnership, LIDL is choosing Italy as one of the first markets where to leverage a marketplace approach, as the platform allows customers to choose their preferred store among the ones nearby and to pick products from the largest online catalogue in Italy: this will make available a variety of more than 4.000 products, with a wide range of private label ones (85% of the whole assortment).

The collaboration between Supermercato24 and LIDL, combining technology with the quality of a personal shopper in charge of the client’s grocery order, will allow both companies to empower their role as key facilitators of modern grocery needs in the Italian market.
