Zespri Group Limited has appointed Vicki McColl as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She succeeds Richard Hopkins, who recently joined Mercury NZ Limited (NZX: MCY) as CFO. The role was held on an interim basis by Cassandra Greeff prior to McColl's appointment.
McColl joins Zespri from Silver Fern Farms, where she served as CFO for more than nine years. Her background includes senior finance roles at Dyno Nobel Asia and Rio Tinto, with experience in financial management and strategic planning across a range of sectors.
Her appointment comes as Zespri continues to develop its financial operations and pursue its business objectives in the global kiwifruit sector. According to Chief Executive Jason Te Brake, McColl's experience is expected to contribute to the company's ongoing operational and strategic planning.
Zespri, a major player in the international kiwifruit industry, has not disclosed further details on any changes to its financial strategy following this leadership change.
