Rockit Global has announced the appointment of Ivan Angland as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), a role that will oversee global growing and packing, quality, operations, information technology, and supply chain functions for the company.
According to Rockit Global CEO Grant McBeath, this newly established role is intended to provide a structured approach to supporting teams, customers, and growers, particularly as the company aims for continued year-round supply from New Zealand.

Angland (right) brings over 26 years of experience in horticulture, including expertise in both growing and post-harvest operations. His background includes leadership roles focused on building teams, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining health and safety practices. His experience also covers multi-site packing and international sourcing, which is expected to support the company's global operations strategy.
Angland will begin his role on July 14. His previous positions include ten years with Turners and Growers in supply, quality, and operations management roles, along with ten years as the agriculture and seasonal factory manager at Heinz Watties.
In his statement, Angland expressed his commitment to optimizing operational excellence at Rockit, emphasizing the importance of ensuring high-quality outcomes for customers.
The company also announced that General Manager of Operations Scott Griffin will leave his position in July after five years with Rockit. During his tenure, Griffin led the development of a robotic packhouse, managed operations through periods of crisis, and contributed to maintaining safe and continuous operations.
Rockit Global's leadership transition is part of its broader strategy to enhance its operational capabilities and support continued growth in international markets.
