PROEX FOOD has commercially released its new, digitally connected sweet and seed corn husker system called the iNTELLIPRO™ HUSKER.
This husker offers modern, digital capabilities for processing and packing lines.
“We installed fresh, fully stainless versions of our iNTELLIPRO HUSKERS in 2022,” said Nick Maglio, director of marketing. “Now we have officially released more sweet corn and seed corn models with all the features and benefits needed for operation in today’s world. This extremely efficient husker offers modern, digital capabilities for our customers’ processing and packing lines.”
This is the first notable refinement of a corn husker in decades.
The unit is ready for cob, cobette and kernelling lines.
“Our iNTELLIPRO HUSKER comes in several configurations with capacities of 4 tons per hour (150+ cobs per minute) up to 16 tons per hour (600+ cobs per minute) per machine,” said Ross Lund, CEO. “This husker helps operators achieve high levels of efficiency and safety and fits in the same footprint of both Hughes and A&K systems. We are ready to put more of these units into action in 2023.”
The iNTELLIPRO HUSKER is ready for cob, cobette and kernelling lines.
“We rethought what a husker can and should be. Our engineers approached this with a “What would I actually build and or use in my own facility?” mindset,” said Daniel Ghadiri, president and CTO. “The approach drove the hygienic design, drive, maintenance and many more features. It includes a one-touch maintenance cover opening--no need for a cumbersome jack or crane. We also know our customers’ mechanics are retiring and they needed modern ways to help new staff operate and maintain these huskers. So, we made sure to integrate sensors and other features into our system for remote support, maintenance alerts and more.”
