As of January 1st of next year, the minimum price for industrial grapes will be R$ 1.31/kg for the 2021/2022 harvest. The new price, up 19% over the current (R$ 1.10/kg) is for the states of the South, Southeast and Northeast region for grapes intended for the manufacture of juice, wine and other derivatives.
The readjustment will be in effect until December 31, 2022, according to Ordinance No. 345, published yesterday in the Official Gazette. The resolution was approved last Thursday by the National Monetary Council (CMN) .
The new fixed value takes into account the variable production costs of crops , in addition to considering other market indicators. The National Supply Company (Conab) prepares a study and the items that most impacted price formation were labor (34.58%) and pesticides (24.68%).
