Tomsystem offers a solution for the staking of crops

A practical demonstration of the TOMSYSTEM machine, a stapler with metal rings for the staking of crops, especially of peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes, was held on Thursday, March 5.

The demonstration was attended by farmers and technicians of a marketing company in the production area of Níjar, who saw this work tool in action. The machine reduces the time spent doing the staking tasks and the number of workers needed to them by a third, resulting in a reduction of work and costs for agricultural entrepreneurs.

It also has its advantages for cleaning the crops, as its staples are degradable.

The initial cost of the machine may seem high but it's not. It is an investment in a work tool that has a one year warranty. In case of failure, the technical service offered by Agroclean Agronutrients provides a replacement stapler until the defective machine is repaired, guaranteeing producers can continue carrying out their tasks in their fields. It is not difficult to handle, it is not heavy, and has a work kit.

The machine costs around € 1,590 + VAT, an affordable price as this investment is amortized with the saving in labor costs in a single campaign. Another peculiarity is that it is accepted as an investment in operating funds for farmers who are in OPFH.

Serafin Barranco Lopez, the head of the distributor of TOMSYSTEM in Almeria, highlighted the great acceptance that this work tool is having in the farms of Almeria, where producers are looking to reduce expenses to achieve greater profitability.
