Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were all about the Fruit Attraction in Madrid. 1,800 exhibitors from 130 countries spread over eight halls were ready to present themselves to 90,0000 visitors. A new record for the event.

The second day of Fruit Attraction was definitely the most crowded. Even on the final day a lot of visitors showed up, but by around 3pm a lot of visitors and exhibitioners had left the halls. The increase of visitors on the final day has everything to do with the fact Fruit Attraction now takes place from Tuesday to Thursday, rather than starting on the Wednesday and finishing on the Friday.
There was a noticeable focus on packaging this year. Carton shakers, top seal packaging, biologically degradable foils in all sizes and colours could be found everywhere during the exhibition. There seemed to be less focus on the organic cultivation this year. The companies that did focus on organic shared a hall with the flower and plant traders, who were present in Madrid for the second year.
