Rebrands four plum varieties

Metis plums back on the shelves

In spite of the climatic hazards, Metis is back on the shelves in 2018 with a potential of 4500 tons. The month of July marks the Italian production arrival which joins that of Spain. The Métis campaign launched mid-June. A brand new identity with new creative concepts and new names for Metis product families.

The aim is to invigorate fresh produce aisles, to simplify the range, making it easier to understand, and to enhance Metis’ appeal to consumers.

This year, Metis takes a new turn with a communication concept around the personality of its segments, that give life to these fruits. These are the plum and apricot hybrid; a surprising mix that has plenty of personality!
  • Oxy Solar called «beautiful» will treat its contenders with its fabulous juice, intense black dress and blood flesh.
  • Dark Moon the «rebel» will add to the entire planet thanks to its ebony skin, containing an irresistibly yellow heart.
  • Safari Star «the adventurous» spotted, with its unique look is the promise of a sensory journey.
  • And finally Sunset Sky the «passionate» to end the day in poetry, with its passionate red colors...

Offering a wide range from May to November, Metis provides premium-quality products throughout the season. Available in 24 countries, the brand is expected to reach 12,000 tons in 2022. Metis works with growers in the southern hemisphere to guarantee a year-round supply.

The Metis brand currently boasts 15 varieties, but the innovation never stops and 30 new varieties are evaluated each year in Europe, in order to expand
the range.
