"Naturally we are doing our very best to supply our customers with the best quality limes that are available at the moment. Our limes always meet the MRL demand of the retail chains and are also 100% socially certified, which is also very important. The Mexican limes that we are starting with this month (April) have Smeta and the Brazilian ones have BSCI certification.
As a participant in the IDH covenant we find it very important that the suppliers of all our products from the so called risk countries are socially certified and meet the demands of our retail customers. But it is naturally also of great importance for us that the growers and staff member in the countries of origin of our products are treated fairly," says Elena. "The producers thankfully expect an improvement in weather conditions and we are looking forward to a successful sales season."
