The export company stated that this was a service from orchards in the Vietnamese provinces of Binh Thuan, Soc Trang, and Vinh Long in response to the Chinese Spring Festival market demand for dragon fruit. Vietnam exported several hundred thousand tons of dragon fruit through Lao Cai international port to China in 2017.
